Congratulation to Saparya Ghosh for winning Silver Medal of Commonwealth Chess Championship - 2024 (U-14 Girls Category) at Malaysia

We are glad to share that Saparya Ghosh of West Bengal has won Silver in Commonwealth Under 14 Girls Chess Championship, 2024 at Melaka, Malaysia. After bagging 4 Medals in Asian Youth in UAE during last December, this is another feather ????on her cap. In the final round on 1st board, Saparya beat Mohd Afif Ainul Mardhiah, who was leading the tournament after the penultimate round. Although Saparya scored the top point; eventually based on the tie break, she had to settle for the 2nd rank.
