Mitrabha Guha and Aronyak Ghosh make podium finishes at Joytu Sheikh Hasina International GM 2021

IMs Mitrabha, Aronyak and Sayantan Das scored 6.5 points each. They were placed second, third and fourth on tie-breaks. Mitrabha was leading the better part of the tournament, however a loss against the eventual champion IM Sankalp Gupta in the sixth round, cost him championship chances. Mitrabha gained 11.6 Elo rating points, Aronyak gained 5.4 and Sayantan 13.1. IM Neelash Saha scored 6 points and he was placed 8th. Untitled Subhayan Kundu was the highest placed untitled player.
