WB State Under 11 FIDE Rated Open and Girls Chess Championship 2022 Prize Distribution

WB State Under 11 FIDE Rated Open and Girls Chess Championships were organised by Sara Bangla Daba Sangstha in association with North 24 Pgs. Dist. Chess Association at Kalokakoli, Nager Bazar, Dumdum from 22nd to 24th September, 2022. In the Open section, top seed Niladri Banerjee became the Champion with 7 points to his credit. In the Girls section, Maitreyee Mondal became the Champion with full 7 points. In the Open Section, 141 players took part, while in the Girls Section, there were 37 players. Chief Arbiters of Open and Girls Section were FA Amit K Biswas and FA Suravi Dutta respectively. The tournament ran very smoothly with full cooperation from players and parents. In the Prize Distribution Ceremony, SBDS President GM Dibyendu Barua and other office bearers of SBDS and North 24 Pgs. Dist. Chess Association distributed the prizes. Top 2 players from each category will represent West Bengal in the respective National Championships.
