Our Mission
- To abide by AICF Constitution and National Sports Code of India.
- To function as a player friendly association.
- To keep transparency in functioning of the association with systematic maintenance of accounts and documents.
- To give emphasis on development, spread and popularization of chess in every corner of West Bengal.
- To conduct regular tournanents in State, National and International levels and encourage District Chess Associations to conduct similar tournanents.
- To provide expert coaching to young talents of different District Chess Associations.
- Promote Chess in the State of West Bengal
Our Vision
- We expect to get 5 new Grandmasters & 5 new International Masters within 5 years.
- Our District Chess Associations will be able to conduct high level tournanents in State, National & International levels.
- There will be 20 to 25 FIDE Rated tournaments in our state every year.
- There should be Government aids/financial helps to promote chess, which should be channelized through District Chess Associations.
- Grandmasters and International Masters will be involved in the process of development & promotion of chess.
- Media and newspapers will give more coverage to chess.
- Chess will be introduced to 90% schools in West Bengal.
- There will be few hubs in different corners of our state, consisting of few remote districts to ensure smooth communication and co-ordination.
