West Bengal State Junior (Under-19 & Under-17) FIDE Rated Boys & Girls Chess Championship 2023, has been organized by SARA BANGLA DABA SANGSTHA from 22nd to 25th April, 2023 at Binayak Enclave Community Hall, Sinthee, Kolkata 700050.

In this state meet, a total of 107 boys & 37 girls from different districts have participated. 4 players from Under-19 and 2 players from Under-17 age group for both Boys & Girls category have been selected for representing West Bengal in the respective National Chess Championships to be held this year. Kathakali Dey There is a scope of achieving International FIDE Rating from this tournament. Prize Distribution Ceremony has been held today, the 25th April, 2022 at 6-30 pm. Grandmaster and Arjuna Awardee Shri Dibyendu Barua has distributed prizes to the successful participants.
