Soumen Majumder is no more

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear Soumen Majumder from Alekhine Chess Club, Kolkata. He passed away at 4:30 p.m. Soumen, who founded the Alekhine Chess Club, will always be remembered. Our hearts are with you during this time of sorrow. The entire chess community cherishes his lifelong contribution to the game. We send our warmest condolences to his family.
